The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in Geismar, LA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a multi-shift operation and a team of 20-30 hourly and up to 30 seasonal associates. The role ensures adherence to safety, quality, and production targets while coordinating with maintenance, distribution, and plant operations.

Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, strong communication and leadership abilities, and bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in supervision or operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a workforce of 20-30 hourly full-time and up to 30 seasonal/temporary associates across multiple shifts.
• Assign work, monitor progress, orient/train associates, interview and hire, evaluate performance, and manage schedules.
• Enforce safety programs and procedures, and ensure quality and productivity targets.
• Prepare and maintain logs and reports; assist in equipment, materials, and budget management.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager and other supervisors on plant operations and special projects.
• Support production goals and plant productivity initiatives.
