Scotts Miracle-Gro in Geismar, LA, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 20-30 hourly workforce plus seasonal staff in a multi‑shift operation. You will assign work, train associates, monitor performance and safety, and help manage production goals and budgets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, 2–5 years in manufacturing leadership, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, and bilingual Spanish/English abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience in supervisory/operations role considered.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a workforce of 20–30 hourly associates and up to 30 seasonal staff.
• Assign work, train, interview, and schedule associates; monitor performance and safety.
• Ensure quality/quantity targets and cost-efficiency; manage materials and logs.
• Implement safety programs and maintain positive union-free environment.
• Assist Plant Manager and support production goals and budgeting.
• Be hands-on, operating equipment alongside the team.
