Job summary

ScottsMiracle-Gro in Jackson, GA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a multishift operation. You will oversee 20-30 hourly associates and up to 30 seasonal staff, ensuring production goals, safety adherence and quality standards across multiple functions.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a bilingual (Spanish/English) capability. Starting pay is industry-competitive with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Experience in associate development and safety.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise across production, maintenance, warehouse and distribution areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a workforce of 20-30 hourly and up to 30 seasonal associates across multiple shifts.
• Assign work, monitor progress, train and hire, evaluate performance and schedule staff.
• Enforce company and plant policies and safety programs.
• Ensure quality and efficiency, manage material availability and problem solve.
• Maintain logs and reports; assist in budget development and monitoring.
• Operate equipment alongside the workforce and support plant operations.
• Assist the Plant Manager and other supervisors with special projects and production goals.
