Job summary

Natural Choice Foods in Marne, MI is seeking a Production Shift Lead for the 2nd shift to supervise the Repack department, set up equipment, and ensure products are produced on spec according to SOPs and safety rules.

You will mentor staff, monitor quality and waste, drive continuous improvement with Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and collaborate with leadership to meet production goals. Prior supervisory experience and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hands-on supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean methodologies and processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Repack department on 2nd shift, setting up equipment and operating machines.
• Ensure products are produced within spec, monitor quality, waste, and counts.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations (USDA/FDA/GMP/OSHA) and SOPs.
• Coach and develop staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
