Pratt Industries in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Production Lead for the 2nd shift (3PM–11PM) to supervise daily production, train crews, and ensure safe, efficient output with minimal waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years prior leadership experience.
• Prior corrugated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and cross-train employees on machinery and processes.
• Ensure necessary tools and materials are available for crews to accomplish tasks.
• Oversee crews and ensure reliability, dependable, on-time.
• Maintain cooperation among crew members and morale; keep information confidential.
• Address questions and problems expressed by the crew.
• Train crew on importance of running efficiently and communicate performance.
• Coordinate with supervisor on repairs or preventive maintenance.
• Keep upper management informed of department issues.
• Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings with personnel.
• Prevent shift-change problems by coordinating with supervision.
• Pursue career skill development via seminars and courses.
• Implement and support all company policies including safety programs.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
