Job summary

Farmer Focus is hiring an Operations Lead for the Acorn facility to support daily poultry production on the 2nd shift. The role emphasizes starting lines on time, maintaining smooth product flow, and meeting customer specs while upholding safety and food quality standards.

You will train new team members, help with production paperwork, and respond to USDA inspectors as needed, supporting supervisors and other departments to sustain operational success.

Qualifications

• Excellent attendance required.
• Must know or be willing to learn all jobs in the Operations department.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork as needed.
• Proven performance and positive attitude.
• Ability to help train new team members and monitor performance.
• Ability to promote safety, food safety, animal welfare, and operational standards.
• New hires must pass drug/alcohol screening per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor with line start and on-time production.
• Lead team members during daily operations and fill in where needed.
• Manage production paperwork and start-up procedures.
• Respond to USDA inspectors and address concerns promptly.
• Help train new team members and monitor performance.
• Perform production checks to ensure standards are met.
• Support safety, quality, and company procedures throughout shift.
