Job summary

Ventura Coastal, LLC in Visalia, CA is seeking a Group Leader to support the shift supervisor in the production department. You will ensure training, enforce safety practices, and monitor adherence to food safety and personal hygiene guidelines to keep operations compliant and smooth.

You will help identify nonstandard conditions, propose corrective actions, and assist the supervisor when needed. Strong teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of citrus manufacturing experience.
• 2 years leadership experience.
• Basic computer skills such as operating a touch screen.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of citrus manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to meet flexible and changing priorities and schedules.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.
• Forklift licensed.
• Beverage/Citrus manufacturing experience.
• Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead production staff on the assigned shift, ensuring training and safety.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene practices.
• Report nonstandard conditions and propose corrective actions.
• Assist shift supervisor and perform duties in their absence.
• Oversee CCPs and HACCP documentation; promote safety and PPE usage.
• Complete shift paperwork and communicate issues and downtime.
• Support lab sample delivery and interdepartmental communication.
