Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to oversee personnel and operations, ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, and maintain process knowledge. The role involves supervising on shift, training operators, and ensuring production targets are met across equipment and processes.

The qualified candidate will have an associate degree and several years of related experience, with strong leadership and organizational skills, in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supervising on shift and training operators.
• Must comply with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of all personnel and operations on shift.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Report any process and equipment problems.
• Verify that discharges from the plant are within limits.
• Train, upgrade, evaluate, and review chemical operators.
• Organize work for smooth operation.
• Assure that established policy, rules, and regulations, and procedures are followed.
• Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.
