Job summary

TA Aerospace is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor in Valencia, CA. You will lead a designated portion of the manufacturing organization to ensure products meet TA Aerospace and customer requirements for performance and quality.

You will manage budgets and schedules, drive continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, HR and Finance to meet department goals. Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years operations experience required, preferably in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and sustain effective processes to maximize material and people resources. Apply continuous improvement techniques.
• Develop a responsive manufacturing organization with clearly defined authority, responsibility, and goals.
• Implement and monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve product design for manufacturability.
• Ensure departmental performance metrics are posted/displayed and visual management systems are maintained.
• Support budgeting and monitor monthly budget performance.
