Job summary

pc/nametag, an Avery Products Corporation entity, is seeking a hands-on Production Lead for our 2nd shift. You’ll operate printing and related equipment about 70% of the day and guide a small 2nd shift team for the remaining 30%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, with demonstrated experience coaching, training, and supporting team members.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to logically troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and adjust quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production equipment and oversee line operations to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to a small 2nd shift production team.
• Coordinate daily priorities and workload to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Coach, train, and support team members while reinforcing safety procedures and efficient practices.
• Monitor safety and equipment readiness; ensure PPE and safe operations.
