Avery Dennison is seeking a Label Machine Operator for 2nd shift (2PM-10:30PM, M-F) at our Cypress, CA facility. You will own operation of label manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient production aligned with customer demand.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating machines, troubleshooting issues, logging materials in ERP, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while collaborating with team members across shifts.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or mechanical equipment setup.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a drive to understand equipment operation.
• Ability to distinguish colors, read fine measurements, and perform visual quality checks at close range (20 inches or less).
• Stand for long shifts and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Aufgaben

• Operate & Maintain: Set up, calibrate, and run label machines according to schedules and SOPs; handle dies to maintain line performance.
• Troubleshoot & Improve: Monitor equipment quality; identify root causes and assist with issue resolution.
• Inventory & Systems: Log raw materials in the ERP using FIFO to minimize waste and track QC.
• Safety & Workplace: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all PPE rules.
• Team Collaboration: Assist with distribution tasks and support across shifts.
