Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Team Lead for Avery Creek on the 2nd shift to guide a production group and ensure daily outputs meet customer commitments. The role emphasizes scheduling, resource management, and adherence to standard work and safety practices.

You will train staff, lead CI initiatives, and coordinate with Quality, Design, and Engineering to maintain product line performance through continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Associate degree OR 2 years of direct manufacturing experience in lieu of degree.
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this position.
• Within a 50-mile radius of the work location; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Lead production activities of a group within the product line and guide employees.
• Plan and execute manufacturing schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Manage schedules for personnel, materials, and equipment usage.
• Check manufacturing processes for adherence to standard work and safety.
• Support health and safety by aligning with MESH programs and alerts.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings and drive visual controls and Gemba walks.
• Collaborate with Quality, Design, and Engineering for CI efforts.
• Use Outlook, Excel, AS/400, Enovia, DMM for daily tasks.
