Florida’s Natural Growers in Umatilla, FL seeks a Production Foreman to supervise daily manufacturing floor operations, ensuring targets, safety, and quality are met. You will coordinate teams, resolve issues, and communicate across departments to maintain efficiency and performance in a hands-on leadership role.

The ideal candidate has leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement; you’ll guide staff, monitor materials, and support Lean practices on a day shift

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must pass Basic Skills Assessment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP/MES systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and coordinate activities of production workers, including assigning tasks and monitoring output.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor equipment and machinery; coordinate maintenance or repairs with the maintenance team.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor new and existing staff on SOPs and safety protocols.
• Monitor raw material usage and inventory to prevent shortages or overuse.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and incident logs.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Active participation and support of the plant safety program is required.
• Regular attendance required.
• Assist in other departments as needed and perform any other duties assigned.
