Job summary

Florida’s Natural Growers, located in Umatilla, FL, is hiring a Warehouseperson for the Swing (2nd) shift. You will operate sit-down, stand-up, and high-reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, while maintaining accurate inventory in the warehouse using a WMS.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. Responsibilities include picking, packing, staging orders, conducting forklift checks, and ensuring proper storage locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification and/or forklift operation experience (sit-down, stand-up, high-reach lifts, etc.) required.
• Must pass Basic Skills Assessment.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Basic computer skills and experience with WMS or similar inventory systems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, high-reach) to load, unload, and move materials.
• Perform routine forklift checks and basic maintenance.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials according to order specs.
• Organize inventory and ensure proper storage locations.
• Use WMS to track inventory and update stock levels.
• Assist with receiving shipments and preparing items for storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records and report discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with regulations.
• Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient workflow.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper lifting techniques.
• Support stock counts and seasonal projects as needed.
