Job summary

Infra Pipes in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee production processes, inputs/outputs, equipment, and personnel on the floor, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. You will lead 3–10 employees on assigned shifts, train staff using SOPs, review records, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards and meet production goals.

The role requires strong leadership, clear English communication, and the ability to read drawings and interpret

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven leadership ability to train and enforce standards with subordinates.
• Strong numeracy to calculate figures such as production rates and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand pipe product sizes, types, and specifications.
• Gain operational knowledge of assigned production equipment.
• Read and interpret product drawings and specifications.
• Complete and ensure accuracy of production records, reports, and paperwork.
• Maintain knowledge of quality standards and correct poor quality issues as needed.
• Perform and understand tasks assigned to subordinate employees.
• Study and enforce SOPs to improve efficiency in the department.
• Collaborate with other facility departments to support production.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are met and enforce company safety policies.
• Use SOPs to train employees effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
