The Production Scheduler is responsible for scheduling, generating, and processing production orders across assigned departments, in coordination with the Supervisor of Production Control. This includes monitoring schedules, capacity reports, status reports, and other relevant sources of information.
The role also involves expediting purchase and manufacturing items to support timely production, assembly, and shipping schedules to customers and sister plants. Additionally, the scheduler supports inventory accuracy initiatives.
The production scheduler manages 2,500-5,000 production orders annually for 700-800 items. They oversee in-house inventory valued between $3.0M and $6.5M, supporting 6 to 15 manufacturing cells with up to 45 staff. Responsibilities include executing picking plans for assembling up to 4 models or fulfilling component sales worth $12M-$15M annually.
The role offers a salary between $45,440 and $56,800, with actual compensation based on experience and other factors.
