Job summary

The N2 Company is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for its Irving Print Facility. You will troubleshoot and repair printing, binding, and finishing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist operators with basic issues. This is a hands-on, in-person role with opportunities for growth.

You will work Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, with potential overtime for major repairs. Candidates should have 1–3+ years in heavy machinery maintenance and enjoy coaching operators in a

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years experience repairing or maintaining heavy machinery, packaging or printing equipment.
• Able to read basic electrical and mechanical diagrams and manuals.
• Enjoy helping, coaching, and working with equipment operators.
• Basic computer skills; comfortable learning maintenance and diagnostic software.
• Able to clearly communicate issues and repair updates to leads and management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues on presses, sheeting lines, and binding equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment reliable and reduce downtime.
• Coach operators on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Handle equipment setups, blade changes, roller adjustments, and glue pot maintenance.
• Prepare and replace components during changeovers or repairs to keep production moving.
• Manage spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure availability.
• Use HP HoloLens XR and other tools to diagnose issues and coordinate support.
• Maintain safeguards and visual guides for safe operation.
• Collaborate with facility teams and vendors on maintenance issues.
