Job summary

Meyers is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2:00pm–10:00pm shift to repair, maintain and assist in installing mechanical equipment to support production schedules.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years Vo-Tech training, and 2–5 years in a printing facility with maintenance experience in machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics. Strong communication and PC skills are essential.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist with installation of all new equipment.
• Assist in scheduling daily emergency repairs, help determine repair priority.
• Aids in shift-to-shift communication via voicemail, email and in person.
• Exertion up to 75 pounds; move freely on foot throughout plant.
