Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Press Operator on the 2nd shift at our Savanna, Illinois facility. In this role, you will safely operate mechanical equipment, verify product quality, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

This on-site position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a $2.00 shift differential and hourly pay between $17.00 and $19.00, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school education.
• Machine operation skills.
• Ability to interpret work instructions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure produced items meet quality control requirements.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
• Use basic measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints when applicable.
• Complete first-piece inspections as needed.
• Complete production and quality documents fully and accurately.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
