Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division in Pinckneyville, IL is hiring a Press Brake Operator for 2nd shift. The role runs Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. with possible overtime.
The hourly rate is $22.93 with a $0.40 shift differential. Benefits start day one, including retirement, parental leave, educational assistance, and wellness programs. Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a license to operate a forklift.
- Prior press brake operating experience preferred.
- Prior assembly experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- No immigration sponsorship or relocation for this role; within 50 miles of Pinckneyville, IL.
Responsibilities
- Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
- Measure completed workpieces to verify specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
- Inspect workpieces for defects, document results, and complete inspection log.
- Read work orders to determine specifications.
- Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.
- Install and align punches, dies, or fixtures in rams or beds using gauges, shims, and hand tools.
