Job summary
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division seeks an Application & Automation Technician-1st Shift in Pinckneyville, IL. Core hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime may be required.
The hourly rate is $30.58–$35.09, based on experience, with general guidelines provided for salary expectations. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving automated production systems. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
- Experience using a computerized maintenance management system.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, adjust, rebuild, and maintain manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance per procedures.
- Maintain documentation and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
