Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Press Operator for the 2nd shift at its Carol Stream, IL facility. The role operates stamping presses and related equipment to meet safety, quality and delivery targets, with the specified hours 3:30pm–2:00am.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED. The position requires standing, lifting up to 35 lbs, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience (minimum).
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate press machines and related equipment to meet safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Follow standard work instructions and use Plex for inventory transactions.
• Load, start, stop, and set up stamping presses and monitor production runs.
• Perform periodic visual quality inspections and address quality concerns.
• Maintain 5S and comply with EHS policies.
