Job summary

Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division in Euclid, Ohio is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12am, Monday–Friday). The role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating milling and drilling equipment to burr, polish and finish aircraft engine parts, with documentation per ANSI standards.

The position requires 1 year of machining or 2 years in a manufacturing environment, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to certify as an operator.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio; no relocation benefit is provided.
Minimum one (1) year of machining or burr experience OR 2 Years work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2-year GD&T Experience (Eaton Level 1 Advanced Training may substitute).

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain and operate one or more milling machines, drilling machines, broaches, and/or shapers to generate rough and finish cuts on a variety of aircraft engine parts.
Mount, change and align various jigs, fixtures and equipment including belts, strips, burrs and holding fixtures.
Perform polishing, burr removal and surface blending to maintain tolerances and avoid damage to finish surfaces.
Use measuring devices (micrometers, templates, profile gauges) to check dimensions and contour.
Maintain tight lot control, traceability, and proper documentation per QCP and SPC requirements.
