Job summary

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division in Euclid, OH is seeking a Certified Gear and Shaft Machinist for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am). The role involves setting up and operating gear and shaft machining processes, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality per ANSI standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two (2) years of machining (Non‑CNC acceptable).
• Minimum 2-year GD&T experience; export regulations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate drilling, milling, edge breaking and burring machines to generate rough and finish dimensions.
• Perform surface finishing, inspection, and maintain documentation per ANSI Y14-5 and operator program.
• Interpret blueprints, read gages, and ensure size control with in-process checks.
• Maintain clean work area and assist others with procedural guidance.
