Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Euclid, Ohio plant is seeking an Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am, Mon–Fri). The role involves operating milling and drilling equipment, performing inspections, and maintaining documentation per ANSI Y14-5 and the Eaton operator program.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, residing within 50 miles of Euclid, export-control eligibility, 1 year machining or 2 years in manufacturing, and 2-year GD&T experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio.
• Export-controlled information: U.S. person eligibility required.
• Minimum 1 year machining or burr experience OR 2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2-year GD&T experience (Level 1 Eaton training acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and operate milling machines, drilling machines, broaches, and/or shapers to generate rough and finish cuts on aircraft engine parts.
• Mount, change and align jigs and fixtures; use belts, burrs, and holding fixtures for various parts sizes.
• Polish, burr, and surface blend operations ensuring correct finish and contour.
• Use micrometers, templates and profile gauges to check dimensions and contours.
• Perform tool changes, adjust speeds/feeds, and verify completed work with precision instruments.
• Maintain strict lot control, traceability, documentation, and NCR records.
