Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift to set up and operate production machines, cut sheet metal, and run annealing/brazing processes per blueprints. You will read complex drawings, select and secure tooling, and monitor quality throughout production.

This role requires strong measurement skills, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure safety and continuous improvement. Shift is Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:30pm, with TPM support and industrial quality standards in an inclusive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with production experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders and diagrams.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong communication skills.
• Experience using measuring devices to meet specs and dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, specs, and shop orders to determine setup and sequence.
• Selects, positions, and secures dies, blades, cutters and fixtures on the machine.
• Adjusts controls for machining factors and ensures correct speeds and feeds.
• Locates marks on workpieces and positions for cutting/bending.
• Starts machine, monitors operation, and changes setups as needed.
• Inspects parts with gauges; maintains TPM through preventative maintenance.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and supports safety programs.
