Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Waco, TX is seeking a basic mechanic to perform lower-skilled maintenance on poultry processing equipment in accordance with company procedures.

The role focuses on routine adjustments, belt changes, oil changes, safety practices, and housekeeping. The individual must be able to work unsupervised, communicate in English, and lift up to 75 lbs. Day 1 benefits and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical maintenance skills on poultry processing equipment.
• Forklift operation capability or willingness to learn/certify.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work unsupervised and stay self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as adjusting belts and changing oils.
• Replace belts, parts, and assist maintenance with work orders.
• Assist with cleanup and housekeeping in the work area.
• Report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
