Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Training Associate for our poultry processing facility in Texas. You will conduct onboarding, new-skill and refresher training for hourly employees and support on-the-floor coaching when not training.

You will develop training materials, schedule sessions, ensure PPE usage, and promote safety culture while meeting policy and regulatory requirements (GMP, USDA, OSHA). High school diploma and 1 year poultry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year poultry processing experience; training experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/USDA/OSHA safety and food production requirements.
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Effective verbal and written communication to all levels; multilingual preferred.
• Basic computer skills sufficient for training management.

Responsibilities

• Learn and train department production duties in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Lead onboarding and skill training for new hires; rotate workers and reinforce safe work habits.
• Observe training outcomes and advise leadership on readiness and retraining needs.
• Coordinate training sessions, scheduling, logistics, and equipment use.
• Develop, review and maintain training materials and teaching methods.
