Job summary

SRC Automotive, Inc. is hiring a PM Technician for 2nd shift in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of plant equipment, lubrication, belt changes, and tank changes, with additional basic building tasks.

You will work with maintenance staff to ensure reliable operation and adherence to safety standards. Ideal candidates have prior manufacturing experience, can read diagrams, and hold forklift/scissor lift competencies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read instructions and follow simple diagrams.
• Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.
• Ability to be certified on company forktruck and scissorlift equipment; must not be afraid of heights.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance duties that include machine lubrication, chemical changes in wash/dip tanks, belt changes, and fire extinguisher inspections to minimize repair cost and prevent equipment failures.
• Work within the company maintenance tracking system to assist in maintaining a record of preventive and regular maintenance performed.
• Performs routine basic building and grounds maintenance such as minor electrical tasks, yard work, etc.
• Assist Maintenance Tech I & II with non-routine maintenance as directed.
