Job summary
Impact Employment Solutions seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) in Fremont, OH. The role focuses on electrical maintenance of equipment, including robotic PLC systems, and training staff on equipment operation.
The position requires troubleshooting, calibration, and minor programming of PLCs, as well as maintaining safety and quality systems in battery testing environments. 18+ and 2–4 years’ robotics/PLC experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- 2-4 years industrial experience and verifiable work history (Robotics, PLC).
- Associates degree or certification in industrial electricity/power controls preferred.
- Knowledge of DC and AC electrical concepts and equipment, transformers and electrical/robotic safety systems.
- Familiarity with conversion from analog to digital and digital to analog.
- Experience with 3 phase 480v, 150amp AC supply to DC control systems.
Responsibilities
- Understand and follow policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Identify and report non-conformities to leads.
- Control nonconforming products.
- Support corrective/preventative actions and improvements.
- Proper use of PPE when required.
- Daily housekeeping of maintenance area and work zones.
- Provide electrical maintenance to minimize production interruptions.
- Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate meters and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and minor programming adjustments of PLC Ladder logic.
