Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks a Controls Technician for its Swedesboro, NJ facility to maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines. You will lead root cause analyses, train Electro‑Mechanics across shifts, and ensure regulatory and GMP standards are met.

The role requires a strong background in industrial controls, PLCs, and electrical schematics, with experience across Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant electrical, automation, and control systems to maximize equipment uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro‑Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment.
• Support plant utility systems (steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, power).
