Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a team on the line and ensure safe, efficient production of quality parts. You will plan, coordinate, train and motivate employees while driving continuous improvement and meeting production goals.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting machines, coordinating with the Plant Manager, performing mold changes, and maintaining 6S safety and documentation. Prior manufacturing leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to perform simple math and measurements.
• High attention to detail with quality focus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of machine function and troubleshoots issues.
• Keeps work area clean and follows safety regulations.
• Directs and coordinates team activities to hit production goals with high quality.
• Assists with mold assembly/disassembly and changes using cranes.
• Uses feedback to drive process improvements and reduce scrap.
• Maintains 6S and safety compliance; documents actions and irregularities.
