Aerotek is seeking a Process Technician to monitor schedules, verify processes, and set up equipment in a 2nd shift plastic injection environment in Ionia, MI. You will write parameters, test parts, perform mold changes, and work with various welders and leak testers to ensure quality production.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting sensors and basic wiring, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement, with a salary range reflecting experience and location.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in a plastic injection facility.
• Ability to change molds and experience as a Process Technician.
• Complete understanding of Process Verification.

Responsabilités

• Check the schedule on the board to determine which presses to start up.
• Write parameters and test parts; run test parts and answer calls.
• Troubleshoot sensors and basic wiring; set up and maintain process controls on presses, molds and equipment.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure quality production and continuous improvement.
• Work with secondary equipment such as sonic welders, spin welders, vibration welders, hot plate welders, leak testers and poke-yokes.
