Job summary

Ventek Solutions in Owosso, MI, seeks a Process Technician for 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am, Sunday–Thursday) to monitor cycles, adjust processes, and support molding operations at our plant. This role reports to the Shift Supervisor and emphasizes safety, quality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include monitoring cycle times, maintaining process accuracy, assisting maintenance with preventive tasks, backing up presses, performing tests, installing new equipment, and ensuring

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
2–4 years manufacturing experience; lift truck certification required.
Knowledge of molding/expansion processes; hydraulics and pneumatics helpful.

Responsibilities

Monitor cycle times and adjust as needed.
Maintain process accuracy and modify processes for product orders.
Conduct mechanical tasks: monitoring, sampling and testing, prep for maintenance.
Monitor operations and material flow to meet quality specs.
Assist maintenance with preventative maintenance projects.
Back-up on running presses during breaks and to the shift supervisor.
Conduct tests and trials; assist in repairs to optimize molding process.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
Install new equipment and repair/instrumentation/control systems.
