Job summary

The Machine Operator role supports set up and operation of thermoplastic extrusion equipment, blending, mixing, and packaging materials to produce customer products.

The position is on 2nd shift (3-11pm, M-F) with overtime and potential weekend work; requires compliance with safety standards and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred forklift experience.
• Preferred previous manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to procedures, ensuring continuous strands and adherence to safety/ISO standards.
• Weigh ingredients to meet specifications and feed into machinery or ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the work area.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
• Transfer samples to the lab for evaluation and follow batch adjustments if needed.
