Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift at the Troy, IL facility. Core hours are 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. Overtime may be required.

The position offers an hourly rate of $27.92 plus a $0.50 shift differential, with progression to $30.61 after 16 months. Benefits include health, retirement, parental leave, and more. Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Ability to install, repair, and fabricate equipment and components as needed.
• Experience supporting operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues.
• Install, repair, and/or fabricate new equipment and components as needed.
• Support Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through action cards and rapid response activities.
• Support physical transformation and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
