Job summary

Eaton in Highland, IL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic on the 2nd Shift. Core hours are 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm with possible overtime. The base rate is $27.92 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in industrial maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Candidates within 50 miles of Highland, IL only; no relocation benefit.
• Eaton does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Complete and maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
• Operate lifts and other equipment.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Maintain and secure tools and keep work areas clean.
