Job summary

W3Global is seeking a hands-on Plant Foreman to lead daily operations on the 2nd shift at our Kansas City, KS manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and running the plant efficiently while coordinating production, maintenance, staffing, and shift priorities.

Qualifications

• Production or manufacturing leadership experience in a plant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead hourly teams and manage day-to-day plant operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd-shift plant operations, overseeing production activities and priorities.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and safety briefings; assign tasks and communicate priorities.
• Monitor production metrics (throughput, downtime, efficiency) and identify improvements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Back up Plant Operator and assist with production duties when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping across the facility.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping, PTO, and shift coverage; support staffing needs.
• Support cost-reduction and continuous-improvement initiatives.
