Job summary

GSC Wholesale LLC, based in Houston, seeks a Pest Control Sanitarian for 2nd shift to oversee pest inspections at distribution facilities, ensure health and safety compliance, and train staff on prevention. You will audit processes, observe teams, implement corrective actions, maintain pest inspection records, and support sanitation across departments.

Forklift/pallet jack use may be required; shift runs 7:00 p.m. to completion, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in product safety, hazmat compliance, health inspections and quality assurance.
• Strong self-direction and urgency; ability to solve complex problems.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in a distribution setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate storage spaces and equipment for health or pest threats and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect products in storage and in transit to uphold safety and pest control standards; evaluate handling procedures.
• Maintain records of pest inspections and testing per policy and regulatory standards.
• Initiate performance discussions and enforce health and safety policies; take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide sanitation support to all departments; operate forklifts/pallet jacks as required.
