Job summary

Qualifications

• Communication skills to communicate with co-workers, understand directions, respond to management inquiries, and record entries
• Basic math concepts required for everyday warehouse tasks
• Ability to use a Radio Frequency Unit to log and track items
• Ability to learn use and operation of motorized merchandise movement equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, automated distribution center experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Move incoming or outgoing merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift equipment
• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure correct receipt and condition, log data
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats
• Replenish pick areas as identified by reports and requests
• Fill merchandise orders from stores by selecting and moving items to conveyor
• Load outgoing merchandise into trailer from conveyor or trucks
• Report damages and vendor compliance issues to supervisor
• Partner with supervisor to resolve problems or discrepancies
• Meet safety, productivity and quality standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned
