Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately move merchandise within the distribution center. You will verify orders, palletize items, replenish pick areas and fulfill store requests while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires the ability to operate RF devices, learn motorized equipment and work in an automated distribution environment, often with long shifts and physical effort.

Qualifications

• Strong communication to coordinate with coworkers and management.
• Basic math skills for handling quantities and orders.
• Ability to operate RF units used in data entry and scans.
• Ability to learn motorized merchandise movement equipment.
• Experience in automated distribution centers preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise throughout the distribution center using hand tools or forklift.
• Verify and audit received merchandise against orders and check for damage.
• Label, palletize, and arrange merchandise on flats for storage or shipment.
• Replenish pick areas and fulfill store orders from pick slots.
• Report damages and assist with discrepancies and safety compliance.
