Job summary

Qualifications

• Communication skills to coordinate with coworkers and management
• Basic math concepts for inventory and data entry
• Ability to use a Radio Frequency Unit
• Ability to learn operation of motorized merchandise movement equipment
• Maintain annual certification requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in automated distribution centers preferred
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Check, verify, and audit merchandise against orders and damages; enter data into the data terminal.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.
• Replenish pick areas based on reports and requests.
• Fill merchandise orders from stores by moving from pick slots to conveyor.
• Load outgoing merchandise into trailers from conveyor or trucks.
• Report damages and vendor issues to supervisor and resolve discrepancies.
• Meet safety, productivity and quality standards; perform other duties as assigned.
