Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a warehouse associate in a distribution center in California. You will move merchandise with hand tools and forklifts, verify items for accuracy, label, palletize, and prepare orders for stores. Qualifications

• Communication and listening skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors.
• Basic math for counting, checks, and verifications.
• Experience operating a Radio Frequency (RF) unit.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move incoming or outgoing merchandise within the distribution center using manual handling, hand trucks, or forklift.
• Check and audit merchandise for accuracy and condition; log data into the terminal.
• Identify, label, and palletize merchandise for storage and shipment.
• Replenish pick areas and fulfill store orders from pick slots to conveyors.
• Operate conveyors and assist with loading/unloading at trailers; report damages or issues.
