Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift Conformal Coating Lab Manager in Huntsville to lead the PCBA conformal coating operations, including manual processes and automated dispensing equipment, on the 2nd shift.

You will oversee a team of certified technicians, ensure production schedules and quality, and enforce 5S and safety policies while coordinating with project teams and production control. US citizenship and eligibility for Sec clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 2-6 years; HS with 8 years considered.
• Strong experience leading teams and coordinating with project teams.
• Ability to multi-task, meet concurrent objectives, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Day to day management of 2nd Shift PCBA conformal coating operations.
• Oversee 2nd Shift lab activities including press fit, selective solder and related processes.
• Provide feedback, manage time sheets, and enforce company policies.
• Maintain 5S practices and coordinate with production control on schedule and cost.
