Job summary

Leidos is seeking a 2nd Shift Conformal Coating Lab Manager to lead the PCBA conformal coating operations and oversee the lab team at the Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The role requires directing certified technicians and coordinating with project teams on schedule and cost while ensuring adherence to policies.

The position emphasizes leadership in a dynamic defense manufacturing environment, with emphasis on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, including 5S lab practices and MES

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2–6 years of relevant work experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED with 8 years of experience will be considered.
• Applicants must have strong experience working with teams and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Day to day management of 2nd Shift PCBA conformal coating operations.
• Oversee 2nd Shift PCBA lab including press fit, selective solder and other PCBA processes when needed.
• Communicate with project teams and production control to provide schedule and cost updates.
• Provide employee feedback and handle disciplinary matters.
