Job summary

CHEP in Orlando seeks a Repair Operator to support pallet refurbishment in a fast-paced environment. You will follow repair guidelines, operate a pneumatic nail gun, and assemble pallets to meet daily production targets. This role requires lifting 60–75 lbs, standing for long periods, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Must have physical strength and endurance for lifting 60–75 lb pallets.
Ability to concentrate on repair tasks and follow safety guidelines.
Good communication skills to understand and relay instructions.

Responsibilities

Uses a pneumatic nail gun & reciprocating saw to repair pallets.
In a repair department places pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place.
Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.
Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time.
Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 60-75 lbs.
Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
