Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Repair Operator for our Beech Island, SC facility. You will repair and assemble pallets with a pneumatic nail gun, stand for long shifts, and lift 50–75 lbs as needed. The role emphasizes safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in an industrial fast-moving setting with industrial machinery.
• Must be physically capable of lifting 50–75 lbs and standing for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair or assemble pallets using a pneumatic nail gun.
• In repair, place pallet on repair table, replace defective boards and nail.
• In assembly, align stock boards and nail together as per pallet type.
• Troubleshoot jams and perform basic saw maintenance.
