Tyson Foods in Rogers, AR is seeking a 2nd shift material handler to load/unload and move materials with a pallet jack. The role requires safe operation, adherence to Tyson policies, and steady communication via radio while walking throughout a fast-paced facility.

You will move products through departments from Flat-Pack to packing, shipping, receiving, coolers, and freezers, and perform safety inspections and paperwork as required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months.
• Applicants from Benton, Washington, and Madison counties in Arkansas will be considered.
• Prior Tyson employment: 180-day waiting period if previously employed.
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner using a hand and/or rider pallet jack while maintaining safety and Tyson policies.
• Operate the hand and/or rider pallet jack to move product through departments; fast-paced and involves constant walking.
• Keep lines and pack-out areas stocked with necessary supplies and product.
• Operate pallet jack through departments including Flat-Pack, debone, pack-out, shipping, receiving, coolers, and freezers.
• Complete safety checks and fill out pallet jack safety inspection forms.
• Lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds; return equipment and paperwork to assigned areas.
• Communicate issues via radio; read and document observations on inspection forms and trainings; report issues to Lead/Supervisor.
