The position requires readiness to work overtime and weekends as needed and to become certified on a pallet jack. Employees must follow Tyson/USDA safety rules, perform manual tasks, and maintain clean work areas while ensuring precise measurements and weights are recorded

Qualifications

• Requires ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Perform routine repetitive tasks.
• Read weights and scales.
• Sufficient mathematical ability to perform calculations and analyze data.
• Willing to become certified to operate a pallet jack.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime and weekends if needed.
• 6 months work history with the same employer.
• 6 months of machine operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in line start-up and relieve when necessary.
• Stock line with packaging materials (bags, boxes, strapping, tape, clips).
• Fill in for line worker as needed and pack/palletize cases.
• Notify supervisor if machinery not operating properly.
• Keep area clean and observe safety rules; operate pallet jack as required.
• Monitor product control points such as weight, size, and temperature.
