Job summary

Tyson Foods in Rogers, AR seeks a Material Handler to safely transport and unload materials using a pallet jack, while maintaining Tyson policies and ensuring accurate records. You will operate a floor jack, coordinate with a supervisor, and keep the line supplied with pallets and containers.

Daily checks and safety concerns must be communicated promptly. The role requires adherence to USDA/Tyson sanitation guidelines, accurate material verification, and willingness to perform additional duties

Job description

Job Details: This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Operate a floor jack in a safe manner. Coordinate through the Supervisor and keep accurate records of finished product and packaging material. Complete operator check list daily. Inform Supervisor of needed repairs and safety concerns. Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers. Verify accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line. Assist with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines. All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Pay: $17.25/hour + $2.00 shift differential

Schedule: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM or until production ends

Requirements: Must complete an on-line job application in Workday Must have 6 months continuous work history in 2 years. All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
